Christmas Bazaar - First Preview

With barely a week to go until our first sale, it’s time to introduce you to some of the marvellous designers and makers taking part in our Homeworks Christmas Bazaar.
Some are familiar faces who you will know and love from previous events, others are new to our fairs so please join me in welcoming a selection of our stallholders who will be appearing at our first sale on Sunday 18 November.

Christa Davis will be returning with her signature reconditioned cashmere, vintage clothing, household items and accessories:

Volpe and Volpe will be bringing their beautiful ceramic swans. Inspired by an original iconic design they have been updated for the twenty first century with new shots of colour:

Lucy Letherland is an illustrator based in North West London. Combining a mix of modern imagery with traditional craft methods, Lucy creates fun and original products:

Annie Neill will be returning with her colourful collection of pure wool scarves, hats, gloves and socks:

Scamp Baby Gift's new Christmas tape is a cute and colourful way to wrap and decorate festive gifts:

Helen Gordon is passionate about supporting UK manufacturers wherever possible, with most of her children’s collection being produced in small factories in Wales and the Midlands. Her collection of products now incorporates children’s clothing including babywear, home furnishings, wallpaper and stationery:

Beautifully lined with different vintage fabrics, these upcycled leather suitcase cupboards by whatcomesaroundlondon are visually appealing whilst being perfectly practical. They can be made to your personal specification and their unique appearance makes them a centrepiece in any room:

Lou Rota, one of our founding Homeworks members, is a London based designer maker whose ceramics and homewares are characterised by her quirky combinations of bugs, birds, reptiles and flowers and one of Lou's most popular designs has been transferred to these characterful trays.

Golden Hop vines photographed from Lou's own garden feature alongside a family of leafcutter insects scuttling among the fronds. She will be launching her new tray designs at our first sale next Sunday:

Nooki accessories include limited edition printed leather bags which are hand screened and transfer printed in a broad range of interesting designs:

One of the loveliest newborn gifts my daughter received was a beautiful keepsake blanket by Little Badger, so I am delighted to welcome Ros to her first Homeworks event. She will be selling a selection of beautiful children’s handknits and her two latest books:

Homeworks regular Celia Worster is returning with her hand blended aromatherapy oils and creams:

and Sonia Shakerley is back with her delicate handmade jewellery which can be customised to order:

Antonia Ross is a jeweller and designer who takes her inspiration from her love of nature. Her best selling gold plated sterling silver starfish pendant will be just one of the unique pieces she is selling at Homeworks next week:

As well as the designers and makers featured here, there will be more new and returning designers to see next Sunday. We will be showcasing their work over the next few weeks, so keeping checking back for more previews - and see you next Sunday.
